Travis King an American soldier who crossed the military demarcation line into North Korea back in July, has returned to the United States custody on Wednesday, two officials told the Associated Press.
The return of the US soldier follows this morning’s news that North Korea will expel the American serviceman, claiming that King “illegally” entered its territory after facing “inhuman maltreatment and racial discrimination within the US Army.”
