President of the Tunisian Confederation of Trade, Industry and Handicrafts (UTICA) Samir Majoul had a meeting, Wednesday, with a delegation of experts from the rating agency Moody’s.
The meeting focused on the socio-economic situation across the country as well as the reforms to be introduced by the Tunisian government in its efforts to boost the national economy.
UTICA representatives stressed the role of the private sector and its contribution to the resilience of the Tunisian economy, particularly in the face of the repercussions of the Coronavirus pandemic and the war in Ukraine.
Challenges facing the country to ensure its food security were also addressed during the meeting.
