Vaccination campaign against contagious nodular skin disease in cattle in Kairouan

The Kairouan veterinary services have launched the cattle vaccination campaign in herds originating from the region and in areas where livestock movement and density are high.

The regional delegation for agricultural development of Kairouan has told breeders in the region not to acquire new animals before having vaccinated their entire herd.

This initiative follows a circular from the Ministry of Agriculture, Water Resources and Fisheries, dated December 6, 2024, proclaiming the beginning of the national emergency campaign against contagious lumpy skin disease in cattle.
