Volleyball – 2024 Olympic qualifying tournament: Egypt defeats Japan and overtakes Tunisia in world rankings (video)

Bad and sad news for Tunisian volleyball! After the 2nd Tunisian defeat against Serbia (here), Egypt reached a historic comeback against the Japanese host country 3-2 (14-25, 10-25, 25-23, 25-23, 15- 13).

With this victory, the Pharaohs overtook the Eagles of Carthage in the world ranking which remains as follows:

Remember that in the event that the two selections fail direct qualification by finishing 1st and 2nd in group B, the FIVB must decide between the two teams by their updated world ranking this Sunday.
