Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi told the Munich Security Conference that the world “cannot allow the humanitarian disaster” in the Gaza Strip to continue. He said there should be a “more concerted voice, a more unified position” that would call for a permanent settlement of the conflict between the Israelis and Palestinians.
Wang said that a two-state solution is the only one that will allow long-term peace and security. “Generations of Palestinian people have been displaced, unable to return to their homes to this day. This is the longest-lasting injustice in our world,” he said.
