WH ‘outraged’ over Israeli strike that killed aid workers

United States National Security Council (NSC) Coordinator for Strategic Communications John Kirby told reporters on Tuesday that Washington is “outraged” over a strike carried out by the Israeli forces that killed a number of humanitarian workers from the World Central Kitchen. However, he noted that there is no evidence the strike on these staff members was “deliberate.”

Kirby stressed that the non-governmental organization has been relentless in providing food to those in the Gaza Strip. Apart from the preliminary investigation carried out by the Israeli side, Kirby said that the US expects a “broader investigation to be conducted and be done so swiftly and comprehensively.”
