WH: US, Iran showed willingness to solve crisis

The White House remarked on Saturday that the meeting between the United States and Iran in Oman showed both sides’ willingness to achieve a solution to their complicated issues that would be beneficial to all.

According to its statement, US Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff let Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi know that President Donald Trump is seeking “to resolve our two nations’ differences through dialogue and diplomacy, if that is possible.”

The White House confirmed that the negotiations between the two countries will resume next Saturday.
