Worldwide coronavirus cases over 3,522,593 million, death toll over 247,000

More than 3.52 million people have been reported to be infected by the novel coronavirus globally and 247,000 have died, according to a John Hopkins tally. Infections have been reported in more than 210 countries and territories since the first cases were identified in China in December 2019.

The United States is still in the lead with 1,158,341 infection cases and 67,686 reported deaths, followed by Spain 217,466  infection cases (25,264 deaths) and Italy 210,717  infection cases (28,884 deaths).
