WTA 500 Stuttgart – Doubles: Ons Jabeur and Badosa in quarter-finals (videos)

Ons Jabeur made a successful debut in the women’s doubles of the 2024 edition of the WTA 500 Stuttgart with her Spanish partner, Paula Badosa. Opposed to the pair composed of Japan’s Shuko Aoyama and Ukraine’s Nadila Kichenok, Ons (ranked 9th) and Badosa (ranked 93rd) guaranteed a win in three sets to one (4-6, 7-5, 10-5) after 1 hour and 39 minutes of play.

 
 
 
 

By qualifying for the round of 16, Jabeur and Badosa will meet the winners of the duel between the Chinese Shuai Zhang and the American Bethanie Mattek-Sands against the Chinese duo Hanyu Guo and Jiang Xinyu.

It should be remarked that Ons will enter the singles version of the German tournament tomorrow against the Russian Ekaterina Alexandrova, not before 11:30 a.m. (HT).
