After switching sponsors (from Lotto to Asics), Ons Jabeur (still 6th in the world in the new WTA rankings this Monday) opted for the Saudi equipment manufacturer Kayanee. At the Australian Open, Ons prepared in an outfit from this new brand will focus on the health and lifestyle of future generations through fitness, sportswear and personal care and therapy, as well as nutrition, diagnostics and wellness education.
In general, Kayanee customers will be directed to a digital platform that will deliver a connection between in-person and online services, to ensure mass participation.
“Kayanee will be utilised to increase the SR16 billion ($4.27 billion) fitness and wellness industry in Saudi Arabia. It’s an extremely exciting time for PIF to launch into fitness, wellness and women’s wellness, and Kayanee is well-placed to enable the industry via its integrated offering, which will see the company partnering with the growing private sector to create a dynamic company,” said Raid Ismail, head of Middle East direct investments at PIF.
