Yemen: Houthis claim to have carried out drone attack against Israel

The Houthis armed group in Yemen asserted on Wednesday, November 1 to have launched a drone attack against Israel.

Supported by Iran, the Houthis vowed Tuesday to continue their attacks against Israel until the end of its war against Hamas, claiming to have already launched several missiles and drones towards Israeli territory.

“The Yemeni armed forces launched a sequence of drones over the past hours against several targets (…) in occupied Palestine, and achieved their goals,” they said in a military statement.

Asked about the threat, Israeli military officials said Israel reserves the right to retaliate at the appropriate time.

According to a statement released Tuesday by the Houthis, a “salvo of ballistic missiles and several drones” were fired that day, the third such attack since the beginning of the war between Israel and the Palestinian Islamist movement in power in Gaza, reports AFP.
