Zammel and Maghzaoui’s Campaign Directors to Challenge Electoral Law Amendments

In a joint press release published today, the electoral campaign offices of both presidential candidates for the October 6 election announced their intent to form a unified team to file an “appeal against the amendment of the electoral law if it is approved before the presidential election.”

“We urge national civil and political forces to deal with this amendment project which impacts rights and political achievements since the revolution of December 17, 2011,” stated the two directors of two electoral campaigns.

As a reminder, the ORP commission office examined this Friday, September 20, 2024 a proposal to modify certain provisions of the Organic Law No. 16 of the year 2014 dated May 26, 2014, relating to the elections and referendums.
