Zelensky: Erdogan, Aliyev offer to arrange Russia peace talks

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that the leaders of Azerbaijan and Turkey Ilham Aliyev and Recep Tayyip Erdogan offered him help in organizing peace negotiations with Russia, a gesture which was met with Zelensky’s welcome.

“Ilham Aliyev and President Erdogan offered to organize negotiations with Russia. This can only be welcomed,” he said in an online video message on his Telegram channel.

Aliyev, who promised to help Kiev with oil products, also stated in a Twitter post that Zelensky had thanked him for his efforts to reinstate a ceasefire and for sending humanitarian aid and medicines to Ukraine.
