Zelensky: Russian forces will definitely fall this year

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky declared on Friday that Russia will lose the war in his country in 2023, as it is already showing many signs of faltering in the conflict.

In a keynote speech at the Munich Security Conference, Zelensky compared the struggle between Kiev and Moscow with the story of David and Goliath, promising that the proverbial giant “will definitely fall this year.” He continued to urge the world to stop trading with Russia as it buys its forces additional time despite being on the losing side.

Comparing his address today with the one that took place last year at the same conference, the president noted the increased western military support, expressing gratitude, but warning that the world “will have no rest” until Kremlin is defeated as Russia seeks to break global security.
