5.5-magnitude earthquake hits Chukotka, Russia

A magnitude 5.5 earthquake struck the Chukotka region of Russia on Monday, according to the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC).

The quake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers (approximately 6.21 miles). As of now, there have been no immediate reports of damage or casualties.
