Tunisia- Breaking news: Tunisia to reopen all of its borders on June 27

Prime Minister Elyes Fakhfakh oversaw  Monday 01 June 2020, the annual meeting of the scientific and national committee to confront COVID-19 at the Kasbah  Government palace.

After considering the health, economic and social situation, the National Authority for COVID-19 decided the following:

  • The evacuation of Tunisians abroad starting from 04 June 2020, with the necessity to undergo seven days of compulsory self-isolation in the hotel at the expense of returnees and spend another seven days of strict health follow-up
  • Transportation between governorates will be allowed starting June 4
  • Opening the land, air and maritime borders on June 27, 2020.
