The organizer of the pilgrimages to the Ghriba temple on the island of Djerba, Rérez Trabelsi, annoued today Friday that “the pilgrimage to the Ghriba will be restricted this year to the practice of religious rituals only”.
Trabelsi added, in a statement to the press, that “the festivities of the “Exit of Al-Manara” as well as the ceremony inside the “El Wekala” space will be annuled due to the current political circumstances that the world is going expreucing. »
This decision comes against a backdrop of extreme tension in occupied territories and fear of hostile acts for the Israelite community during the pilgrimage.
