Prime Minister, Hichem Mechichi authorized, upon his examination of the situation in the various regions that recorded significant amounts of rain, in coordination with the concerned governors, the acceleration of the convening of the regional committees for relief and confronting disasters in the relevant states.
According to a statement by the prime ministry, the PM stressed the obligation for these committees to remain in permanent session, taking care to observe the situation carefully and to prompt immediate intervention whenever the need arises.
The Prime Minister called on all units and departments concerned with rescue to remain on high alert to immediately respond to the calls of citizens whenever necessary.
