A 41-year-old man passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, after being hit by a rural taxi at the road attaching the town of Brahmi to the Bousalem delegation under the governorate of Jendouba, Réalités Online reported.
The deceased sustained severe injuries and suffered from a severe haemorrhage leading to his instant death.
The representative of the prosecution at the Jendouba Court of First Instance, who immediately headed to the scene, directed an inquiry. The body of the deceased was carried by units of the National Guard to the regional hospital in Jendouba for an autopsy. The owner of the taxi was arrested pending his court appearance.
