Tunisia-Covid-19: Lack of intensive care beds kills 14 at At Rabta hospital

Doctor Rim Abdelmalak, a specialist in bacterial diseases, affirmed that during the weekend 14 deaths were registered at the Rabta hospital due to the lack of ICU beds.

In a statement to the watania 1 channel, Abdelmalak declared that vacant beds are frequently rare adding that ambulances spend their time running from one hospital to another to get vacant places for patients.

“The capacities of Tunisian hospitals are very low, in particular in the intensive care units,” she recalls.
