Agents of the regional company El Kawafel in Sidi Bouzid today started a two-day strike (October 21 and 22) demanding a raise in the number of buses and the return of some inter-regional lines.
According to the general secretary of the union, Belgacem Zaraai, the agents called for the creation of a regional transport company in Sidi Bouzid as the number of residents has surpassed 455,000.
Belgacem Zaraai further added that the strike will continue today and tomorrow if the authorities concerned do not respond favourably to their requests.
