In a video shared on the official El Kamour coordination page, spokesman Tarek Haddad evaluated the many deals that have been reached with the authorities, including the most recent one signed on November 8. Affirming that the inhabitants of the region have claimed the right to work, Haddad highlighted the hard socio-economic situation in the governorate of Tataouine.
He evoked that negotiations with government delegations were unsuccessful. Haddad further denounced the smear campaigns and defamation carried out against him, indicating that lobbies have sought to demonize the leaders of the coordination of El Kamour. In the same context, he threatened to escalate, alluding to the shutdown of the oil valve if the authorities do not react to their demands by November 8.
