Ahead of its two African Cup of Nations (AFCON) Group J qualifying matches against Libya (03-06) and Tunisia (05/06), Botswana defeated Eswatini (1-0) in a friendly match, played at the University of Johannesburg stadium in South Africa.
Botswana caretaker coach Mogomotsi Mpote stated he was satisfied with his team’s overall performance: “The boys had a good understanding, we will operate more on fitness in the next few days, we will be ready for Libya and Tunisia at home”.
