Al Ahly Secures 21st Egyptian Football Super Cup Title

Al Ahly emerged victorious in the 21st edition of the 2023 Egyptian Football Super Cup, beating Future Modern after extra time with a score of 4-2. This victory marks Al Ahly’s 150th title in the club’s history, solidifying its position as the most successful club globally with 120 national titles, 24 continental titles, and 6 international titles.

In a match that finished 2-2 after 90 minutes, Mahmoud Kahraba (13′) and Hussein El Shahat (34′) scored for Al Ahly, while Future equalized with goals from Omar El Said (76′) and Mohamed Mahmoud (81′). In extra time, Frenchman Anthony Modeste, aided by Tunisian international Ali Maaloul, secured a 3-2 lead (114′), and Karim Fouad (116′) sealed the victory in the goal-filled match.
