During a ceremony presided over by Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune and his Iranian counterpart Ebrahim Raïssi, Algeria and Iran signed a series of cooperation agreements and memoranda of understanding across different sectors.
These agreements, concluded on Sunday in Algiers, cover critical areas such as the knowledge economy and startups, tourism, cultural heritage, media, and sport for the year 2024-2025.The signing of these documents represents a critical milestone in improving the bilateral relations between the two countries, paving the way for new opportunities for mutual benefits.
In conjunction with these agreements, President Raïssi, who was on an official visit to Algeria following his attendance at the 7th Summit of Gas Exporting Countries, obtained an official welcome at the headquarters of the Presidency of the Algerian Republic. There, the two leaders engaged in a face-to-face meeting.
