Who is George Galloway, the new MP for Rochdale?

Born on August 16, 1954, in Dundee, Scotland, George Galloway is a British left-wing politician known for his unwavering opposition to war, colonialism, and Zionism.

As the Member of Parliament for Rochdale, he is most acknowledged for his unwavering support for Palestine.

Galloway’s political involvement started at the age of 13 when he joined the British Labor Party. He later shifted his focus to international causes, notably after meeting a Palestinian student in 1975.
