The Boy and the Heron, directed by the legendary Hayao Miyazaki of Studio Ghibli, has made history by becoming the first anime and international film to win the award for Best Animated Film at the Golden Globes.
Although the category was introduced in 2006 to honour animated works, no anime productions had formerly clinched the award. Miyazaki, once again, has made history with his latest movie.
