The year 2024 was charactersized by rise in the number of attacks against journalists. According to a report issued by the National Union of Tunisian Journalists (SNJT), at least 20 journalists were attacked during April 2024 compared to a number of 15 journalists attacked in the month of March 2024, and 12 journalists victims of attack in January of the current year. The journalists who were attacked in April represent 22 media outlets, including 9 radio stations.
