Following the incidents of violence registered at the handball derby, the Tunisian Basketball Federation has voiced some precautionary procedures for the Tunisian Cup final matches, planned for this weekend. In this context, the following has been decided:
– The two senior men’s and women’s finals, planned for Saturday May 14 in Radès, will take place without the public.
– Ten people from the management board of each finalist team and holders of Federation licenses for the 2021-2022 sports season are allowed to access the competition hall.
– Only are authorized to be on the field, namely: 12 players, 1st coach, assistant coach, team doctor and physiotherapist, all with licenses for the 2021-2022 sports season.
Regarding the rest of the members of the management office of each team participating in the final, they will have access to the stands behind each bench. In addition, the FTBB revealed that the clubs of Etoile du Sahel (Senior Men’s Champion of National B) and the Women’s Association of Dar Chaâbane El Fehri (Senior Women’s Champion of National B) will be honoured on this occasion. Also, it should be mentioned that the federal office wished to thank the Tunisian National TV Establishment for its efforts to broadcast the series of finals of the Pro A championship.
