United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken talked separately about the situation in Afghanistan with Turkish Foreign Affairs Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu and Indian External Affairs Minister Jaishankar.
According to a spokesperson for the United States Department of State, Ned Price, Blinken and Cavusoglu discussed the two nations’ cooperation in Afghanistan and their joint efforts to ensure the “safe and orderly evacuation of citizens, allies, and partners.”
Blinken and Jaishankar “discussed a broad range of shared priorities,” according to Price. They agreed to cooperate in Afghanistan, also promising “to remain closely coordinated on shared goals and priorities to deepen the US-India partnership.”.
