The UN SG condemned on Tuesday the clear violations of humanitarian law before a Security Council still split on the 18th day of war between Israel and Hamas. He stated the Hamas attack “did not happen in a vacuum, as Palestinians have endured fifty-six years of suffocating occupation.”
The language of truth and hope that he employs contrasts terribly and sadly with the soft and conventional, hollow and servile speeches of Arab leaders. Shame. Forever shame.
