By Morshid Samawi: Why Arabs and Muslims voices become faint in the face of genocide of our brothers in Palestine?

The world is following the horrendous crimes against our Palestinian people in the proud Gaza Strip, where they are exposed daily to attacks resembling genocide, employing military weapons by Zionist gangs that breach all international laws and UN resolutions.

Although the number of victims who were brutally slain surpassed 35,000 Palestinians, including children and the elderly, the forces of evil, injustice and international crime continue to erupt their bloody volcano every day, as about 170 Palestinians of all ages lose their lives every day.

What is striking and significant these days is the calmness of responses and the decrease in movements and protests on the part of Arab and Islamic peoples and governments, despite the massive human tragedy that the people of Palestine are experiencing. While the Western peoples and some of their governments condemned the continued genocide and demanded official and international recognition of the independent Palestinian state.

It is time to activate international efforts and call for collective action to gain the support of the countries of the world, and to denounce the brutality and genocide perpetrated by the Israeli occupation with all brutality and racism. There is no room for silence or surrender in the face of this tragic situation in the Palestinian territories.
