CAN 2021: Tunisia warned and sanctioned

TN Sports has learned that the CAF Disciplinary Committee has decided to sanction Tunisia by fining Tunisia coach Mondher Kebaier $5,000 for entering the field without the referee’s permission during the match against Gambia.

The same fine will be imposed on goalkeeper Farouk Ben Mustapha, for employing “obscene language” against the referee.

Finally, CAF gave a warning to the FTF on the necessity for commitment to the principles of integrity, fair sportsmanship and ethics. In another context, CAF inflicted a fine of $5,000, due to an Algerian fan storming the stadium during the match against Ivory Coast.

Also, the Ivorian Federation was fined $10,000 because of fans storming the pitch, but $5,000 of them must be paid if the incident occurs again.
