China to give $1.6 million in aid to Ukraine

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Wenbin announced on Monday at a press briefing that China will be sending an additional $1.6 million in humanitarian aid to Ukraine.

“The Chinese government has decided to provide Ukraine with an additional batch of humanitarian aid worth 10 million yuan ($1.6 million),” stated Wenbin, adding that China wants to have “a constructive role in smoothing out the humanitarian situation in Ukraine.”
