Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Sunday that he is ready to negotiate with Russian President Vladimir Putin and that the conflict cannot be ended without negotiations. “I think that we have to use any format, any chance in order to have a possibility of negotiating, possibility of talking to Putin. But if these attempts fail, that would mean that this is a third World War,” he told CNN.
He insisted that it is “time to talk” and to “restore territorial integrity and justice for Ukraine.” Earlier, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu claimed that Russia and Ukraine are nearing an agreement on a number of key issues.
