City of Sciences: Astronomical evening around James Webb

The City of Sciences in Tunis is organizing, on November 5 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., an astronomical evening on the space telescope ” James Webb ”, launched since three months by NASA, the specialist in Astronomy, Hichem Ben Yahya told the TAP Monday.

He added that the event is open, free of charge, to the public and that this scientific event seeks to disseminate and facilitate scientific information.

He indicated that the City of Sciences has developed, in this respect, a scientific program concentrated on the presentation of the James Webb telescope, which since its launch on orbit in space has been a resounding success that has surpassed the expectations of scientists And provided photos on the presence of water on an exoplanet.

The specialist said that this event will permit visitors to see Jupiter, Saturn, and the Moon, and attend workshops on the Stellarium Mobile Planetarium application displaying a precise card from the sky to discover the stars.
