Djerba attack : “Scheduled flights are taking place at normal pace” (Tourism Minister)

Tourism Minister Mohamed Moez Belhassine said, Wednesday, in Djerba, that the scheduled flights from and to Tunisia are taking place at their normal pace, adding that there have not been any changes or cancellations so far, following the attack perpetrated, Tuesday evening, near the Ghriba synagogue.

He emphasized “the ongoing trust in Tunisia”, adding that “all stakeholders are doing their best to ensure the success of the tourist season and provide the best conditions to welcome and host our tourists.”

The Minister also indicated that “today, no country is safe from this type of attacks,” welcoming the solidarity shown by Tunisian citizens which remains crucial to the country’s economic growth.
