Drone attack on Saudi airport leaves eight injured

A drone attack on an airport in Abha in Saudi Arabia’s southwest resulted in injuries to eight people, Riyadh-led coalition intervening in Yemen revealed on Tuesday.

It was the second aircraft launched over the past 24 hours from parts of Yemen belonging to the Houthi movement and both have been shot down by Saudi air defense systems.

However, fragments of the second drone that dropped to the ground caused injuries to people and damage to an aircraft on the runway.
