End of truce in Gaza: Stopping entry of humanitarian aid

Egyptian security sources and aid organizations informed Reuters that the passage of humanitarian aid and fuel trucks into the Gaza Strip through the Rafah crossing ceased on Friday. This halt followed the resumption of Israel’s military campaign after a week-long truce.

During the truce, there was an increase in aid delivered through the Rafah crossing, with hundreds of trucks transporting essential supplies such as food, medical items, water, and fuel entering Gaza. However, relief officials have noted that the aid provided during this period falls short of meeting the substantial needs of the population in Gaza.
