Erdogan condemns ISIS-K attacks in Afghanistan

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan condemned “heinous” attacks at the Kabul airport and claimed they show the threat the Islamic State (ISIS) presents to the region, as well as the whole world.

Speaking at a press conference on Friday, Erdogan also noted that Turkey held talks with the Taliban and that the group asked Turkey to run the Kabul airport but stressed Ankara “has not made a decision yet” on whether to accept the offer.
