Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said the “forced depopulation of Gaza is unacceptable” during his meeting with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi (right) on Wednesday.

Erdogan praised Egypt’s role in supplying Palestinians in Gaza with humanitarian aid via the Rafah crossing, adding that aid remains a priority. He said Turkey intends to continue working with Egypt to resolve the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas in Gaza.
