European General Court upheld a European Union ban on the Russian-controlled media platform Russia Today (RT) on Wednesday.
The EU ban on RT was first imposed in March of this year, alongside several other Russian-affiliated media outlets.
“The Grand Chamber of the General Court dismisses RT France’s application for annulment of acts of the Council, adopted following the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, temporarily prohibiting that organization from broadcasting content,” the General Court stated.
