Director of the United States National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Dr. Anthony Fauci declared on Tuesday that it is imperative for the investigation by the World Health Organization into the origins of the coronavirus to continue.
Fauci remarked that while it is more likely that this was a “wild natural occurring” virus that transferred from an animal host to a human one, he is not “100% certain” of it, and therefore determining the origin of the virus is a must.
