France’s new COVID-19 cases set new 24-hour record, above 30,000

The French Public Health Agency informed on Thursday the country recorded 30,621 new COVID-19 cases and 88 deaths from COVID-19.

The official data showed 12.6% of conducted tests returned positive, while 6,529 people were hospitalized after showing severe signs of the disease. With the latest update, the total number of reported cases exceeded 800,000
