French parliament adopts vaccine pass

French parliament adopted on Sunday the final version of the vaccine pass bill after a debate that lasted two weeks. The vaccine pass will replace the health pass and should come into force around January 20.

The pass will be required to access bars, restaurants, regional transport, and leisure activities. Unlike the health pass, it will not be available to people with a negative COVID-19 test, but will instead require complete vaccination. The health pass will still be used by those aged 12 to 15, while the vaccine pass will apply to people over 16.
