Three dead, six injured in Abu Dhabi fire

Abu Dhabi Police reported on Monday that two Indian and one Pakistani national died in the fire that occurred earlier in the day in the Mussafah district.

Six other people suffered mild to moderate injuries after the fire resulted in an explosion of three petroleum tankers near Abu Dhabi National Oil Company’s (ADNOC) storage tanks. The local police also said that “small flying objects, possibly belonging to drones” could have caused the incident. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia’s military intercepted a drone attack, according to state media.
