This Thursday, the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance of Tunis mandated agents of the economic and financial affairs sub-directorate of the El Gorjani judicial police to put Wadie Jary in police custody.
The reason! According to Chokri Hamada, spokesperson for the Ministry of Youth and Sport, the president of the FTF is being indicted for suspicion of financial corruption connecting to the functioning of the umbrella body of Tunisian football.
In addition, these suspicions concern a contract inked between the FTF and a former technical director and that a complaint was filed by the ministry under article 96 of the penal code.
