The IDF reported Tuesday morning that 21 officers and soldiers had been killed in fighting in the central Gaza Strip in recent hours. The announcement comes shortly after the occupying army admitted the deaths of 13 officers and soldiers in the fights for Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip over the past 12 hours.
For his part, the spokesperson for the occupation army, Daniel Hagari, described the battles taking place in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, as harsh, while reporting the death of 13 officers and soldiers.
At a press conference in Tel Aviv on Tuesday morning, Hagari revealed the circumstances of the death of 21 Israeli soldiers in the Maghazi camp in the central Gaza Strip, stating that the soldiers were mining two homes to destroy them, when a fighter targeted them, as well as a tank parked near them, with rockets, which blew up the entire device, and killed the soldiers under the rubble of the houses which collapsed.
