The IDF carried out its threat by bombing the area around Al Quds Hospital, south of Gaza. The Zionist army had, in fact, frequently asked for the evacuation of the hospital, with a view to razing it by bombing. To bomb its surroundings, it employed phosphorus bombs, which are prohibited worldwide.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Committee, which manages this hospital, has confirmed that it is impossible to evacuate it given that it accommodates no less than 4,000 sick and injured people, including several children; and no less than 14 thousand civilians are sheltering there after the destruction of their homes.
