Approximately 2,200 rockets were fired this Saturday from the Gaza Strip towards settlements in the Palestinian territories occupied by Israel where several infiltrations of Hamas fighters were registered from the Gaza Strip.
According to Israeli Army Radio, 35 Israelis between civilians and soldiers were taken hostage by Palestinians.
